ESL Australia and ZEN ESPORTS NETWORK announce a new league for the Asia-Pacific region in 2017 with $100,000 up for grabs. With ESL Australia & NZ Championship Season 2 Finals in action this weekend, ESL Australia and ZEN revealed on stream that the league will feature 8 teams split between the Oceanic region and the Asian region. There will be two seasons per year, which will involve a two to three week online season and LAN finals.
The online qualifiers will begin next month, in December 2016. Two spots have been secured by Athletico and Chiefs after defeating Immunity and Parallax respectively in the semi-finals of ESL ANZ Season 2 Finals. You can find the updated list of participants below:
